Artist’s Statement:

“When I moved to Arizona in 1960, it was the Southwestern Culture and history that provided the ingredients to fashion my full-time career in art.  Reflecting back on my career, I have come to realize that an artist must persevere in order to survive … everything comes as a result of that.  Whether depicting a teepee encampment, a Pueblo village or a Still life,  dramatic lighting is my primary focus.  Capturing an emotional response to my work is a humbling experience.  The rewards I reap as an artist are countless.” – Joni Falk
